Who was Jesus

Who was Jesus’ priority when he walked with us…the “non religious”types – he didnt think much of the establshed religion (ie pharisees)- the problem is his so called body, have become the established religion, more interested in being a happy little club, and we fail to be Christ like in reaching out the non churched…his arms arent reaching and his hands arent healing because we just want to cuddle ourselves.

Getting to Heaven

Why do people say you have to believe in God togo Heaven or been good get you there. but that one must accept Jesus Christ as his/her savior, and then Jesus Christ will assume the guilt of his/her sins; believers are believed to be forgiven regardless of any good or bad ‘works’ one has participated in.  Believe in God in only the start you must follow and trust God.

As my old minister Richard Goscombe has gone to work for bca (bush church aid) i thing it time to see what they do.
CA has a priority in mission to the isolated, remote urban and rural people of Australia.

BCA’s purpose is:

to proclaim Christ so that people may respond to him;
to nurture Christians in their faith and ministry;
to strengthen local Christian communities in their mission;
to provide services of Christian care and advocacy;
to develop an understanding of Christ’s mission and
to promote active partnership throughout the church.
BCA orders its life and ministry:

by prayer for God’s help and the Holy Spirit’s guidance;
by the vision, wisdom, authority and encouragement of Scripture;
by humility, servanthood and fellowship with the church in mission;
by interdependent relationships with Diocesan Bishops;
by providing pastoral care and professional development for staff and
by responsible management of its resources.
BCA fulfils its mission as the people of Australia are given the opportunity to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, trust in his promises, respond to him in obedience, reflect his character in their lives, be committed to his church and work for his purpose in the world.

Rejoice: Christ Has Risen!

In one of Paul’s most emphatic statements, he declared, “If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith” (1 Cor. 15:14). If Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead, everything else is a waste of words. If he is not alive right now, Christianity is a hopeless fraud. But the good news is that Jesus has indeed risen from the dead—as our Savior, and as the promise that we will also rise from the dead.

The doctrine of the resurrection is an essential of the faith. All of Christianity depends on the truth of this doctrine. But it is more than a doctrine—it is wonderful good news, news that should fill us with joy, hope, confidence, excitement and celebration!

 Did Jesus not only predict his death, but also his resurrection? Matt. 16:21; 17:23; Mark 9:9. Did the disciples understand and believe Jesus? Mark 9:10; John 16:17-18; Mark 16:11; Luke 24:11.
